Ladonia administration has appointed Alan Bleiweiss as ambassador in the State of Washington. The ambassador made this statement:
“It is with sincere pride that I accept appointment as Ladonian Ambassador to the State of Washington. Since the earliest days of my Ladonian citizenship, I have dreamed of this day. Many great things can come from Ladonian and Washingtonian relations, be they cultural, educational, or even perhaps economic. May I serve Queen and Country honorably…”
Mr. Alan Bleiweiss left his post as ambassador to Washington State in June 2012, and was converted to Nomadic Ambassador-at-Large that same day.

Please forgive the extended delay in my reply to your request for relief from the beer-less country of Sweden. Sadly, Ladonian mail delivery is very slow and as Ambassador to Washington, I will see who I can communicate with about this problem. Because I am still admittedly a bit confused about which ministries serve what purpose, it could be another year or two before I have an answer.
In the interim, because I have not yet learned as to whether there is a budget to allocate for ambassadors to visit our native land, I am not sure if or when I will ever be able to visit, let alone trek outside our country’s borders to other lands. If such a miracle would occur, I will gladly see to it that I bring this beer you seek!
